Whoo-hoo! On August 15, 2016, French Illusions: My Story as an American Au Pair in the Loire Valley won Outstanding “Non-Fiction Travel” in the 2016 IAN Book of the Year awards. I was awarded $100 and my memoir is still in consideration for the 2016 Book of the Year. This year’s first, second, and third place award winners will be announced on September 1, 2016.

On August 1, 2016, French Illusions: My Story as an American Au Pair in the Loire Valley, was selected as a “Travel” Finalist in the 2016 Independent Author Network (IAN) Book of the Year Awards. The category winners will be announced on August 15th.
