Whoo-hoo! On August 15, 2016, French Illusions: My Story as an American Au Pair in the Loire Valley won Outstanding “Non-Fiction Travel” in the 2016 IAN Book of the Year awards. Independent Author Network (IAN) Outstanding Non-FictionI was awarded $100 and my memoir is still in consideration for the 2016 Book of the Year. This year’s first, second, and third place award winners will be announced on September 1, 2016.
